Somebody Got a New Bow....
« on: April 14, 2008, 06:58:36 PM »
And I hear he likes it...
Here's a pic of it, lets see if he chimes in...

Its a 3 Piece Longbow, like Boneaddicts... I suck at taking full length bow pics, so you'll have to settle for the closeups...

Good looking bow. Not too much gingerbread.  :archer:

Wow, that's pretty.  Is that ebony?  I see some other exotic looking woods as well...  Nice.

The main is Shedua, then some Ebony stripes around Bocote... Not too much contrast...

LOTS of carbon in that bow!

Thanks,

E

Nice work Hornseeker! Maybe after I get my daughter through college I'll be able to afford to buy one of those sweet bows. 8)

Thanks for the head's up Bone. But I don't think the wife would be up for that because I bought a new Hoyt two months ago.  :dunno: About how much $$$$ for a bow like that?

Well, I'll say one thing for sure. I'm the proud owner of that masterpiece!!! Ernie went way out of his way on this one guys, it's one heck of a shooter!! It's by far the smoothest, fastest  shooting shock free bow I've ever shot! When drawing this 60# bow it's like a shock absorber effect, absolutely no stacking in the least! I don't know how he did it as it far surpasses my previous longbow!

To say I'm pleased is a true understatement ! I'm grinning from ear to ear after shooting it today! If anyone is truly in the market for an awesome bow you have got to consider Ernies Sapphire line. I'm sure Boneaddict would agree 100% I can't wait to get out & shoot it some more! It's also a feather to carry & very balanced, this bow has exceeded my highest expectations. Heck, I just wanted a T/D Longbow, I will shoot this bow for years to come, that's bad news for Ernie!! (grin)  Too, I agree his prices are more than fair.

I'm glad to see he had photos to share as I don't have any yet! Maybe this year I'll have a photo of it as I'm holding it kneeling with my bull !!!!
  Thanks Ernie!!!
