He was acting Normal.  my stalk and approach with serveral times watching him took about 35 mins.  He was with alll the does. lol.  He had 7 with him

I wonder if that ever would have healed? Sure doesn't seem like it would.  Did he look to be blind in that one eye? That eye socket is broken right in half!   :o

That deer had to have been in a lot of pain. I'm glad you were there to put him out of his misery.

95% chance it would have healed, I have a friend that has an elk ckull plate like that, it is just a big old thing of bone now, looks like the plate had been broken twice

so if that had healed, and he grew his horn out to the side like that next year, how would he be scored? we he score with a huge spread, but not be book eligible?
