Late mule deer Blues permits?
« on: December 17, 2010, 08:29:02 AM »
Anyone else besides me have a late Blues mule deer tag or know of anyone who did?
Curious to see how everyone did with these new permits.

 :dunno:

I am also very interested.  Jack was the only one I ever heard about drawing one of the tags.

A co-worker and buddy of mine had the Grande Ronde late rifle tag.  Third day into the hunt he had two broken toes, a broken rifle (trigger guard - Tikka), a huge snow storm came in, and his wife informed him their shop had been broken into, suspects had been stopped, but she didn't know what they were missing.  He shot a dink four and headed back home!  At the report of his rifle the buck he had been chasing stood up from behind some brush. :bash:  He was alone on this hunt.  Suspects got a tool chest and other items, of which the S.O. didn't find.

Damn...I thought the weather was bad enough. Too bad for that guy. We had the weather to deal with, but on day 3 I killed my buck. What's a dink 4 look like??

So there were 3 tags given out..  Grande Ronde, ?, and ?.   I believe my Uncle had a special rifle tag for Lick Creek.  Would this be one of the 3?  I'll get some info and pics from him and get them up.

That grande ronde tag could be sweet.  I've seen some big bucks down there while fishing.
