Does anyone know why a quiver has the broads on top. Seems like it would be better to have the cup on the bottom so the arrows would not slip when shooting. You just have to get used to pulling them out and getting it on the string. Just tried to flip the quiver on my Switch Back but it is a fixed mount.
Just wondering.....

Turn it upside down. Or tighten up the slots if you can.

What kind of arrows are you shooting? I had problems when I switched over to the Beman MFX Micro Diameter carbon arrows. They require a smaller slot otherwise they will slip right out. No problems with Gold Tips or Cabelas Carbon Hunters as they are not "Micro Diameter". I have seen people flip the quiver but I am not sure what the reasoning is behind it. Seems like it might be a liitle awkward to get your arrow out of the quiver if it was upside down.

The cup is on top so you don't catch your arrow on every last branch sticking out.
You walk through the woods with the top of the bow up or pointing the way you are walking, right?
If you turn the quiver over, you will get tangled up easier

MJB that makes since to keep the arrows out of the brush. When i am target practicing it takes about six shots for an arrow or two to slip out of the padded housing. They stay firm in the field. Guess I will just keep giving them a shove back in place when I am going after the target. Thanks guys.

What arrows and quiver do you have? You might try a new quive r that holds your arrows tighter

I had the same issue when target shooting. I remove my quiver completly and use a side quiver during the off season. That also allows me to carry more arrows on those days when everyone wants to push sketchy shots.

I assume you are talking about a Mathews one piece quiver?? If so it has a couple allen screws you can loosen and slide the rail tighter or looser where the shafts hit the quiver. If you want to put your quiver upside down, which I have seen at a few 3d shoots. You need a left hand quiver mount or vice versa if you are left handed. Also by always slipping your broadheads back into the hood foam it is dulling them a little.
Hope that helps:)

Never had a problem with my Bowtech quiver. It has 2 differant slots for micro and normal size arrows.
