I heard rumors a tribal guy got him yesterday.   I hope not.

Is that the same buck as the big surprise buck? Have you heard whether he was in fact shot?

Hey bone, do you ever go after the sheds of these bucks? If so you must be the king of sheds :yike:

Bigtine, I've seen his shed pile, and his idea of "damper" and most folks idea of damper are two entirely different things.  Yes it really is that impressive.

By the way, absolutely beautiful picture Bone.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

The Ellensburg buck, right?  Man, I hope he didn't get smoked.  I'd love to see him with a little added mass/age...

Exceptional picture to add to the collection!  What were the specifics of the shot? f-stop, zoom level, distance, amount of cropping, shutter speed, tripod or not, light levels.... I'd love to get just one picture that nice some day!

Thanks Buck.   It was offhand compliments of the angle up the hill form where I was at.  60 yards I am guessing if I remember right. A pretty gray day.

Thanks for the info!
Love the photo!  And to do it offhand is even better.

Me thinks it may help a bit having an $8000 lens to work with...not sure, though, since I'll probably never even lay eyes on one (buck like that or a lens like that).
