Do you mean the reduced out of state tags that you can take two?? I went last year, and for like 150 some bucks to hunt out of state I will do it again. The week we went the weather was just a downpour. We did spot two way up high a few miles away, but the backside of the road system was still heavy snow drifted in. Fun hunt though!

Nice, you will have to let me know if, when you go. We were almost to Montana on Lolo pass I believe. Like I said cheap hunt, two bear limit and you can bait!!

High country, are you going to bait over there?  If so I would be willing to lend you a hand keeping the baits active.  Split the cost and baits?  Let me know if your interested....or are you just spotting and stalking?

I am going to spot and stalk. I had a co worker who led me onto the area a few years ago. he would see a bunch of bears......but I may have to entertain the bait plan, I need to see what the scoop is on ID bait laws......I have never baited anything......aside from a bit of corn on a hook when I was a kid.

The baiting is totally legal, you just pay a certain amount for each bait station you want to run. Its very reasonable!
