there's some big fish in there for sure. I'll probably head up there a few weeks after the opener. Don't want to deal with all the people and the madness that is opening weekend on Mineral.

It was not as good as usual.  We got our limits without much trouble on Saturday.  Sunday was slow like it always is.

Mostly small stockers hitting the lines. did not see as many as normal bigger fish taken. We limited out with out any troubles but only took home 3 fish over 2lbs between 4 of us.

Derby winner was only 8.9lbs  :dunno:

Friday evening the fish were jumping like crazy all over the lake, and the bugs were out thick. They must have got there fill before the season started.

Anyone have any recent information on Snagger?  Think he got caught?  Is there a chance that he still swims the waters of Mineral Lake?
