33.5 pound Springer.
« on: April 21, 2008, 08:09:52 AM »
Rusty has been a permanant fixture in my sled all Springer season. He has been searching for his first and friday he found it near Beacon Rock. This is the biggest Upper Big C springer Ive ever seen with no fin. Everyone we talked to this weekend said they have never seen a upriver hatchery fish this big. Suer would like to know were he is going...

Anyway, enjoy.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me to.

Great fish, I'd have a replica done, tough to top that. Hopefully that means the Summer run fish will also be larger. :)

Wow, that is a realy nice looking fish.  Great colors.  Cool looking halo's on top of it's head.  Usually don't see then that well in a picture.  Congrats to him!

Dude!      Im so hungry for springer.  Awesome fish.  If you cut the snout off and give it to the WDFW they could probably tell you at some point what its parent stream was.  Congrats.
