724wd, a couple minutes in Photoshop can really clean up old photos. Check these out.  Not perfect, but that's just a couple minutes of work.

thanks!  i use CS3 (ID, PS and IL) all day as a graphic designer.  when i come home, i usually don't do much design work... kinda like my dad who owns a body shop.  last thing he wants to do is work on cars!   :chuckle:

Here is another old photo that I had to work on last night. I had to really crop the heck out of it and clean up so spots on the horse. The paper is completely deteriorating from age and I think it somehow got wet or damp through the years:

Darn it!  I wish I were only 24 now... :chuckle:

Yep - 1966.  I'll modify my post.  Good catch.

Mt St Helens - Aug 1979 - My last year at Comp Loowit

My Dad and brother (sitting) 1979 - Ape Canyon, the last year we could hunt there.

I Have a bunch of Loowit photos if anybody wants to see more of them.

I hope no one is offended but I enjoy working on old photos.  It's kind of fun to create and recreate what something really may have looked like.

Dick

Me and my first niece as I get ready to leave on the boat to cross the lake.

Other boats arriving at camp.

The dining room

One of the camp counselors in front of Mt St Helens

My father and I in front of the sign for the trail to the water front

Me in front of the Lodge

Some of the cabins, mine was the one behind the shed that year.

My mom and I by the firepit

My mom at the waterfront

And I found another Hunting one.  Me in Ape Canyon 1979

Awesome photos everyone! :) It's pretty neat to see all the old photos and to share in some of the memories that are contained in them. :) It's a shame to to think that these great memories are put into old photo albums and stuck away in a closet forgotten for years! :(
