No gun is too big for coyotes.
A friend of mine shot a coyote with his .458 SOCOM. Said there wasn't much left to look at, but it sure was fun!
I have a 7mm ... and have shot this gun at 300 yards at the range and pretty accurate.
I HAD TO SELL MY COYOTE GUN, BUT I STILL HUNT THEM, SOMETIMES I USE MY 12GA. SOMETIMES MY MOSIN NAGANT (CHEAP AMMO) I EVEN USED MY 22LR A COUPLE TIMES (DO NOT RECOMMEND THE 22)

I found that federal makes a 110 grain bullet for the 7 mag ... But I figure 110 would not demolish the dog.
Is it legal to shoot a coyote with a .22?

tripple....you should try those rounds yourself first so your confident with the shot placement and then see how the bullet does...Prolly won't be able to use em past about a hundred yards tho i would think..

Everything else was....gone!
Like I said--I wasn't there. Only know what I was told. Hearsay, and info on the internet fall into the same category. They're worth every penny you pay.
