Dogs in Elk Heights?

Hi all,
So over the weekend the old man and I went out to elk heights, out of cle elum. We made different sets all day and didn't see a thing. Saw alot of coyote sign, but never a dog. Any one have any luck hunting here?

They can be really tough in that area, there are a lot of dogs in the Kittitas valley but the really good areas are private
