Starting to Grow?
« on: May 04, 2008, 08:51:14 AM »
Was out yesterday checking my trail cam and I saw a Blackie that was starting to grow already. They weren't very tall, but his bases looked pretty thick. Anybody else seeing bucks with new growth?  :IBCOOL:

Saw a couple of bucks out by lake Marcell in Carnation Friday that had just started to to lump up.

I saw a buck in Kirkland 4-5 weeks ago at the same stage of growth, go figure

Just been seeing blackie does, did see one buck hit by a car with smaller nubs a couple weeks ago. Should be a great antler growth summer as wet as it is.

The buck I saw was with 2-3 does. I couldn't get him stopped long enough to get a good look.

Talked to my dad yesterday, and he said he had two bulls in his back yard that were already out about 3 feet.
