Freinds of the NRA in Skagit county is looking for a youth to sponsor this year.

Hunt will be a guided hunt date to be set (because the regs are not out yet) youth modern hunt. All expenses paid plus expenses for one adult to go and be on the hunt but not hunt. Eastern WA.

They are looking to get a some applicants to choose from.

Youth under 16 maybe from a none hunting family or a family that is in need of help and would not ever be able to have thier child do something like this.

Please ask any questions and I can get the answers.

Really would like a kid from the state.

It would really be cool to get someone through this site, get them a huntwa hat for some pictures.  :)

Looks like it will be the early youth anywhitetail, the hunt is on private land. (but again the hunt has not been decided)

Update, the hunt will be for two kids hopefully a boy and a girl different families.

Deer hunting and one day of some type of bird hunting.

If the season is open for others to hunt the parents if they have thier tag can also hunt.

The rancher says he can not gaurantee a deer but would be very dissapointed if deer were not harvested. He said something about protecting his cherry trees.

Submit stories to me if you would like me to pass them along.
dave.carey@verizon.net

Winners will be announced before the NRA Auction and dinner on May 17th 2008

So time is running out, sorry we did not ask earlier but we just found out about the hunt. They need more applications.
