I was going to post this one in the photography tips section.  Always make sure you have at least 5 pictures on your roll if out taking pics.  I took this one then ran out of film.  I frantically had to re-load, and by the time I did, he was off to the brush.  I spent about 20 minutes playing grab a$$ with him, but never got another goood pic.

No need to spend extra points WACAT.  99% of these pics were taken during the general whitetail season.  I have a couple more from year before last to post.  I'm not sure where those guys go.  It seems like when I pound it I hit everywhere, but apparantly not.

Heres a dead one that didn't survive the photoshoot.  Took him with my contender.  I ratled him in and he came barreling in and landed in the middle of a couple mulie does in front of me.  Then he started circling me and all I could see was his antler tips.  He finally lifted his head to look at me and I shot him.  He disappeared and when I walked up to him, he was laying there.  I couldn't find a bullet hole.  Finally after searching (thought he might have scared to death or something, a drop of blood came out of his scent hole.  The bullet went in, and closed back up.  I'll see if I have anymore on my computer.  I'm at work.

Here is the story behind this one.  I get set up in the exact location that I have rattled numerous bucks in, the three previous years.  I have my camera on a tripod, and figure I'm about ready to go.  I slam the antlers together and this guy bales out of the brush right in front of me.  I can't move as he is right there grunting...searching.  He moves by in front of me and goes behind a tree.  I grab my camera off the tripod, but can't get a picture.  I hear rubbing and thrashing, but can't see that this deer is moving.  All of a sudden he whirls and bolts. I snap the picture.  Right on his ass is the biggest whitetail I have ever seen.  I scored him in my mind and he outscores the record book/world record by 10+ inches.  I about crap my pants.  This buck pictured looks absolutely TINY compared to this guy.  He runs him clean out of the country.  I try rattling, and all sorts of things, but I can't get him to come closer.  I study him through the binos and see what I get.  I spent the next several days trying to find this guy, and many miles on my truck and miles afoot to find his sheds but NOTHING.  I figure its the largest whitetail I will ever see.  I can't imagine one bigger unless its a weird non-typical.  All I have out of the encounter is a blurry picture of the deer of a lifetime himself getting his ass kicked.

Once again, nice pictures boneaddict. It's too bad you didn't get a picture of that monster buck. I know we can take your word on the size of that guy though. I remember you talking about this place last fall. It sounds like an awesome spot to find some giants. If you're ever looking for a partner to take pictures with over there, let me know. ;)
