Bob Lambeth custom grips
« on: February 10, 2011, 09:20:47 PM »
I recently lost some of the sight in my right eye so I had to swith to the LH side.  I went down to XXX Archery in Rainier OR and picked up a new Hoyt CRX32 and started my quest to switch sides.  By the way Cory and Dustin run a great shop, truely upstanding guys.

I loved everything about the bow except the new rubber grip Hoyt is using, for me it was just too sticky and it was tough for me to lick the left and right issues.  I did a little research and found Bob Lambeth, this guy is awesome, he built my grips and had them to me in one week.  Now I love everything about my bow.  After talking to him I found out he's battling lung and brain cancer, he's 75 years old and 125 lbs but still loves making grips.

Here's a picture of my new grip, now I just need to pick up a black and yellow set of "G" strings from Cory and Dustin and I'll be all set up.

Bob's been around making grips for several years, he's a great guy.  Sad to hear he's battling cancer, he does incredible work.
