One from this morning
« on: May 13, 2008, 08:01:57 PM »
As I am getting ready to leave for work, I caught this little bastage sizing up some of the neighbor's calves.  Ran down to the pasture and popped him at 300 yds with the old lefty 30-06, ran back to the house, put on a shirt and drove off to work.  I had to turn him over for pics, the other side is pretty gruesome with the vultures pecking on it and the fact that the bullet pretty much filleted that side.  I guess it was his "day in the clover".

I should be able to get some more.  My neighbor has a dead calf piled up where I can see it from the house.  Let the games begin!
