Arco/Mackay mule deer
« on: February 23, 2011, 12:59:07 PM »
Does anybody hunt this area for mule deer? My dad hunted it for many many years back in the day and I hunted it a few years but haven't been back in probably 10 years or so. I just wanted to see if anybody hunts the area and how they have done.

I use to hunt that area too and was about to start again this year as I have had it with this state. hunted there for 10 years but haven't really been back for the last 5 years. Was a big die off and way to many elk down there now. I drew a good Wyoming elk tag for this year an plan on spending my time down there trying to shoot a good bull. Not sure who you are but I bet I was the one who got your dad hunting down there.

Interesting. I never was able to go there when my Gramps could go which sucks. There is going to be a group of us going after mulies and if we are lucky, one or two of us can draw an antelope tag.
