I know a sith who will probably do it cheaper than that. do you want me to ask him? detail what you need done please
I cant afford to pay anyone to do it for me, i will have to wait till i buy my own jig to drill & tap here at home.
My buddy said his shooting friend that is a machinist would do it, but waiting for someone else to have free time is killing my patience with all this free time on my hands and nothing to tinker with.

thanks though, much appreciated.

How much is the jig you need?  Cool project you have going on. I would like to see it finished.   :hello:
they go for $56 to $100 online
sun optics scope jig for google search.

Have you already ground off the rear sight housing?
If not, I like the looks of this. Then you won't need the scope base d/t for now.

was no sights on the rifle when i got it. it will be a clean scoped custom once i can get back to work on it, if my truck canopy sells soon i will have the scope drilling jig and be able to also make a few bucks doing other rifles for friends to buy other things for my hobby lol!

One thing my eyes arent too fond of is open sights, they always blur on me if i shoot more than 5 rounds with iron sights for some reason. then i have to wear the fucus helpers for awhile. :bash:

Have great vision, my eyes are just getting lazy in their old age and focus alot slower than they used to.

well, L&I just closed my claim on me for vocational purposes.
this project just got put on the WAY WAY back burner.

i am in limbo for vocational payments now, dont know if or when i will recieve anymore money, what i do get will unfortunately go straight into rent & bills. So this rifle wont be getting finished any time too soon.

That and the CDL driving school i was going to enter also closed their doors to private students, they are moving to only Governmental training positions like border patrol, Fire & rescue, Military & police.
Really sucks the donkey to work with a person in the school for over a year to walk in finally and sign all the paperwork and be told they stopped training civilian drivers "YESTERDAY".

Bass --- Turds.

maybe i will go set this up on the wash machine and stare at it like i am going to do something to it.
wish i had 8 coyote canine teeth, i would inlay them in a star pattern on each side of the buttstock.

That would look really neat i think.
when this is ready to kill some dogs, i will need to dave up on teeth and claws lol!

I hope this don't burst your bubble but I forgot to mention that when you get done drilling and tapping all of your rifleS, crabs and I wanted it back. We might have some use for it too, or be able to loan it again or sell it. I hope this doesn't mean you won't love us anymore. :chuckle:
