I picked this scope jig up from KillBilly today, Thank you KillBilly!I cant wait to make a mess on the washer with it lol! Have to run up to McLendons hardware first though and check the #31 bits they have there with the pilot sleeve included in the kit though, seems as if the bit they sent with the kit is a little too big for the pilot sleeve hole. want to be careful, only want to drill each hole once rather than weld them shut and starting over after filling the holes because they are too large.Cant wait to give this jig a go-round and get on with more progress.

Randy, you should call the company and ask them to make it right if they sent the wrong bit or pilot sleeve.
thanks dontgetcrabs!!!!!!!i have to run the top of the reciever through a milling machine even though i have the Jig, its not perfectly flat and the front ring leans towards the rear, i dont want to bind the scope mount or have the scope rings leaning back towards the butt either.Just has too much angle on it and i dont want goddy looking shims showing under the scope mount.

Just a thought May be cheaper than what you were thinking.Hey--------Glad to see you back at the project. Beats American Idol any day
