Thats one helluva buck, no doubt! But that right sided G3/G4 is not gonna hold up in my opinion. Looks almost a twin to that Canadian buck that ended up being dropped from world record contention after they ruled that they shared the same base.

There is more shrinkage that may likely occur in two years. We had a cougar skull that measured officially measured 15 14/16, but after waiting nearly 3 years for the next awards banquet for verification, the skull was reduced to 15 11/16, a loss of 3/16. I have some deer howns which have shrunk over time so I bet it does lose some score.
But if I had that buck, I wouldn't care if he shrank 5 inches...

that is an absolute hog. i cant even imagine the adrenaline rush having that buck in your sights and then on the ground would cause.
