Lake Roosevelt - February/March 2011

The big lake keeps producing.. the launches are getting scarce though.    :'(  Here are a few pics of the last few days even got into some walleyes!  :)

A  buddy of mine got into the silvers yesterday..they got 12.  Biggest was 24"..  Fish On!   :chuckle:

Any different technique required for the silvers?  Yelp your killing me, the boat is still in the gargage taking a long winter nap!   :chuckle:

I sure miss fishing Lake Roosevelt. Would fish Gifford Cr. and Bissell Cr. this time of year. Use to fish out of a boat during turkey season and call, hear a gobble, pull in and hunt. ;)

I sure miss fishing Lake Roosevelt. Would fish Gifford Cr. and Bissell Cr. this time of year. Use to fish out of a boat during turkey season and call, hear a gobble, pull in and hunt. ;)

Hunted Bissel Flat back in late 80's.  My biggest Tom came from there.  Lots of great memories.  Lots of birds and fishing is always good up there.

Not today  I saw 4 other boats.  It rained pretty good!

How long does the fishing usually hold out?

My wife and kids are going to Hawaii for spring break,so I've got the first week of April all to myself.  I'm thinking of making a big loop through Eastern Wa. Starting at Roosevelt,maybe hit Rufus Woods, and then Potholes for a day or two.
