I sure miss fishing Lake Roosevelt. Would fish Gifford Cr. and Bissell Cr. this time of year. Use to fish out of a boat during turkey season and call, hear a gobble, pull in and hunt. ;)

Hunted Bissel Flat back in late 80's.  My biggest Tom came from there.  Lots of great memories.  Lots of birds and fishing is always good up there.

Many people hitting the lake when you are out there Yelp? You doing the bottom walkers for walleye?

How long does the fishing usually hold out?

My wife and kids are going to Hawaii for spring break,so I've got the first week of April all to myself.  I'm thinking of making a big loop through Eastern Wa. Starting at Roosevelt, maybe hit Rufus Woods, and then Potholes for a day or two.

Friend of mine was jigging for Walleye last week and hooked and landed a 6 lb. rainbow!
