My good friend (even though he's a Dallas fan) drew an all season elk permit. He has been asking me which of the eastern units has the best odds for a draw. With this dose he still need to choose a weapon choice?
Before he found out he got the permit he'd also been asking me which unit and which weapon choice would have the best odds of a draw?

He can apply for any permit he wants. The archery permits have the best odds, and after a quick look at the permit quotas, I would say the best odds permits would be: Rimrock D, Goose Prairie C, and Observatory C, not necessarily in that order.

I would cut off a toe for the Peaches Ridge B muzzleloader tag. Not real good odds, but a lot better than rifle odds.
