Oregon hunt unit 57

I have been looking at a hunt in this area,close to Troy Oregon.Can anyone tell me does this area have a good population of deer?I have a chance to hunt some private ground,but I have never been there.Any help would be great.

I hunted it several years ago with a buddy and it wasn't the easiest hunt.  The season's so early it's pretty hot and most of the deer we saw were on private land, though not that great there either.  If you have access to a good piece of private it might be a better deal, but we thought it was kind of a tough hunt?
