It does sound like a good excuse to go to cabelas.  It's too bad I can't make it.

Talked with a friend of mine and it looks like we are going to check it out on Sunday. I'm new to bear hunting so anything I can learn will be appreciated and hopefully put to good use  ;)

Just got back from Cabelas and the prep for bear class.   I have to  be honest, it wasn't what I expected, kid was nice but I learned WAY MORE just by reading the posts here.   Nice to get down there though, picked up the Nosler 6th reloading guide, 180 Accubonds and 168gr Bergers all on sale plus I had a cabelas coupon so the trip was worth it  ;)

Sounds like a successful trip none-the-less!! 2 great partition choices IMO

Yea, I'm sure this site and the collective info on it put just about any hunting course to shame, though I'm sure Cabelas put on a good show.

I just couldnt justify the trip, maybe if I knew I had been pulled, but not prior to
Theres plenty of room for all of gods animals.... right next to the mashed potatoes!
