More or less about 26 days. But that doesn't mean she set's them all the time. She will leave the nest to feed during the day.

I have seen turkey hunter's do they're best to run a bird down.   :IBCOOL:

So just how fast can a turkey run?

25 mph  is how fast they run along side of my truck one day?  Fast like a Guinea hen running thought the Savannah eating grasshoppers!   :chuckle:

Yelp I am going out on limb. A hen can lay up to 70 to 80 a year. And the 2ed answer is average 12 but the can have up to 16

One egg is laid daily until a clutch averaging 9 to 11 eggs is completed.   :hello:

My question is does this vary by subspecies?
