Well, I probably have more experience with chicks than most on this site since I raise about 30 different species, but still have my questions.  It looks like a baby Reeves, but doubt you have many of them running around unless the picture was taken down near Walla Walla or the Blues.  Other than that I would have to guess baby grouse as I haven't raised any of them.  Sure looks like a Reeves though.
