Yesterdays shed hunt
« on: March 24, 2011, 01:32:36 PM »

Went for a hike yesterday hoping to find some moose sheds with a bonus whitetail or two  :chuckle:

Got my two whitetails after some brutal hiking.
No moose sheds, but found a young (looks like last years calf) dead moose.
Didn't see any bite marks or bullet holes....she was no where near any roads.
I was trying to look her over but after seeing the engorged ticks all over her   :o    ... I ran away like a little schoolgirl.

Wonder what did the moose in? I like how that old shed was sitting up, score.
