Very nice bull. Also like the red tint/night vision on your camera, much easier to see than the standard green or gray scale. At least for my eyes.

He's the biggest bull my brothers got on camera with 50 game cams in the woods for the last 2 years. He's super wide super pretty heavy abnormially long G1s and G2s and all his points are rounded its July so his horns are still probably going to grow a bit more. My guess would be in the 330s gross

That is a 280-290 bull with the velvet stripped. Hes is pretty much done growing at that point. Beams are only about 42 inches long. good fronts but nothing else is very long. Mass is descent but not extreme, velvet adds quit a bit . Probably looks heavier than he is.

Do they get a discount or something on those cameras? That is quite a bit of cost expense for a picture of Bigfoot. Plus we already have this pic of him.

Reconyx are one the more pricier trail cams. But they are made in the US and are alot more reliable!!

I went over all the tine lengths and added them up and came in at 294 gross on that trail cam bull. Ill bet money Im pretty close. Nice bull you killed by the way. Great front end on him. Too bad that trail cam bulls thirds arent like your bulls, really has to make up a good 12-14 inches give or take with the back end. Just gona have to find the sheds then we will know, or kill him  ;)

I don't know what what the guts, hide head and horns weigh but the hanging weight of the 283" bull was 564lbs (meat and bones). The guy who measured the horns had a roosevelt on his wall that is the biggest non typical in the state 6x8 and said his hanging weight was 750lbs the meat shop I guess couldn't believe it so re weighed it after he left. I'm guessing this bull falls inbetween some where plus head horns hide and guts anyone know what all that weighs.

Here are my estimated measurments.
Greatest inside spread 40"-- my bulls was also 40 and I this bull looks very wide in the last photo
Main beams                45"--mine was 42" and this bull looks like a diff class of animal 45" Is still not that long for an animal this big I think the main beams seem smaller due to the girth with the velvet.
G1                             19" pretty long
G2                             19" same
G3                             13" My brother shot one in 06 that went 260 I remember the G3s were 13 and looked smaller than this one so I'll low ball these
G4                             11"
G5                              6"
G6    only on the left    2'

Circumfirances 1st 11, 2nd 8, 3rd 6 and 4th 5 multiply all by 2 except spread and 6th point for a total 328

My measurements:

42 on the beams
14 on the g-1s
16 on the g-2s
9 on the 3s
14 on the 4s
5@6 on the 5s
2 1/2 on the 6

I gave him a total of 53 for mass
and a 38 inch inside spread.

Your way long on the fronts on that bull. No way those are 19. I killed a bull with 17inch 1s and 19 plus 2s , that bull aint even close IMO. I think I got the 4s a bit long , but could make up for a little longer in the 3s. but no more than 10 1/2 on those. Um  60 inches of mass?? Thats what you gave him. That is an extremely heavy bull, I dont see it with this one. This bull in the picture doesnt even have close to 60. He had 55 and Im pretty sure he is heavier.  I dont know, I think you inflated that bull a bit but I could be wrong. Kind of fun to debate scores by a picture. Be nice if you would find the sheds just to see how far we are off or on. I got a 330 bull Im working on now actually.

I think the bottom bulls main beams and g3s are longer but the g1s and 2s look alot shorter g4 look comparable and the girth of the velvet bull seems heavier. Maybe it's just hard to tell without actually measuring. Here tell me how long yo would think the mainbeams are on this bull

I've been looking at some pics and I think the velvet bull would go more low 300s but would break 300. I'm no pro just for fun. The 2 pics that Bucklucky posted to me it looks like the top Bull has better fronts but main beam length is short compared to the bottom one. But could be an illusion due to the fronts being bigger. What do they score if you know??

I missed your other post. That picture you posted is too tough to really tell. I think that pic is makes it look bigger than it actually is. ID GUESS 48 but I wouldnt be surprised if it is shorrter. ??? I usually wont even guess on pics like that.

That top bull had 49 inch beams and goes right close to 350, that second bull is 333 with a 40 inch inside, 48 inch beams if I remember right , 18 inch thirds.

I think the top bulls mains look shorter due to the fronts being so nice. I think this is the case with the velvet bull. The last photo I posted that bull only has 36" mains scores about 250. Just can't reaaly measure from a photo.

Thats why I said I usually done guess on pics like that last one you posted, Its trick photograpy. What is funny is I origionally put 40 as the main length and second guessed the picture so I changed it. You can call BS on that if you want  ;) Got any good pics to guess on ? Ill guess some more  :chuckle: Im ready for september

Those are the only 2 decent bulls I've killed. I do have a group photo of 5 nice bulls you could take a crack at that one but it would be more of a real estimate based on overall size of the antlers. Easier to get a rough estimate though due to people in the photo and multiple antlers something to guage off of

Also that top bull you posted looks to have pretty nice fronts that curl up don't know how long. But go back and look at the third photo of the velvet bull and take a look at his fronts look for a while those things are like an energizer battery they keep going and going. They are extemely long I think after going thru these photos when you take into consideration that this bull has a huge body he's in velvet it will make the lenth of his antlers seem smaller. Also this is an Olympic roosevelt which according to facts are quite a bit larger body wise to a rocky mountain. And I'm guessing that cascade roosevelt are a cross with rockies thats probably why they are a diff species in the book just like coastal blacktail and cascade blacktail. So if this is the case a cascade roosie would obviosly be smaller bodied than a olympic roosevelt. So if you were looking at a photo of the two seperatly obviosly a cascade roosevelt's antlers would look larger nextto his smaller body? Lots of typos prob didn't spell chck

Hey tjgerm, actually that top bull is a rocky . ANd for your info a mature Rocky out of the blues will be just like a big Roosie. Its the average size of rockies are smaller but that is taking into concideration that other states like colorado have way smaller bodied bulls. The Bulls in the Blues are BIG. The Biggest capes I ever get in are from those big 10 year old Blues bulls. I have to use the biggest bull form and add to them to get them to fit. So that top bull is on a Huge form. I do know what you are saying though and it goes into concideration when Im making a stab at the score. Its those conciderations that I take that usually keep me in tha ballpark. That blues bull had a 13 1/4 eye to nose  and a 36 inch neck at the ears. Thats BIG, like Roosie Big  ;) That velvet bull has about 17 inch , at the longest, eyeguards. And that  is on the g-2s, the g-1s are about 2-3 inches shorter. You just have to inturprit the picture correctly instead of trying to make him grow  :chuckle:. I take it there are no hard horned pics of him?

No hard horned pics. That camera is still there with a couple more in the area will check them again in May. And probably October after that. They did find a shed that they believe is from this bull they figure it was a couple years old due to being covered in moss and the only point that had been chewed on was the G4 which was the only point exposed. I'll check it out next time I see him it was from the right side. He said it looks real similar. Yah i'm sure i'm probably streching this bull a bit. We've had alot of cameras out and this is by far the biggest. We've got a few more 6 bys and 5 bys that were nice but nothing like this.

That is one dandy Roosie and I wish he was on my trail camera. I was hunting a bull that would gross about 330 , got some awesome footage of him , he went down hill a bit this year but got killed by some lucky bugger during rifle season. If my budy ever gets the footage on CD I'll show that one too you , BIG 7x7. Elduded me for 6 years, almost killed him a few times.....almost dont count though  :chuckle:
