Couer D Alene Lake Smallies
« on: March 28, 2011, 07:46:47 AM »
Anybody hear anything about the northern area of CDA yet for smallies.  I am going there on Saturday.  I am hoping its not a wasted trip.  But if anything else i will get the boat out for the first time this year, Finally, now i just need the weather to cooperate even a little.

If I just HAD to go bass fishing, I'd head to Banks Lake.  Smallies and largemouth.

With how cool it's been this spring I'd be surprised if there were decent numbers inside of the 30' depth mark.

Too early with our weather. :twocents:

I agree, but don't you think Banks would be 10 times better for bass than C d'A?  It will be tough no matter where he goes this time of the year.

Absolutely, Machias, with a strong influence on the smallmouth.

It should be soon. We have done pretty good on smallies from lake wa to banks in the next couple weeks in past years. I'm looking forward to start fishing on some "browns"
