Best broadhead target?
« on: May 22, 2008, 09:31:03 PM »
I'm looking to get a new broadhead target soon. I'd like to pay under $100 but not sure if that is possible. What do you guys recommend? Thanks.

The block 4x4 is what i use.  Works good and seems to be holding up fairly well!  The morell yellow jacket is probably the target that will hold up the best though.

That target has been on there a while.  Wonder why no one has taken it yet?  I would if I needed one!

My freind has a Morrel Yellow Jacket-first arrow was near impossiple to pull the arrow out and endded up pulling my insert out of the shaft and lost a bran new slick trick inside the target-the layered foam ones may leave foam slivers in your yard but they don't keep your expensive broadheads. 8)

By the way-I'm new here, hello, looks like a nice place.

Sportsmans Warehouse makes a broadhead target. I just bought one for 45 bucks. Arrows pull pretty easily too.

ive been using a yellow jacket for 2 years now, im getting very close to the 20,000 shot mark and its still going strong. it has came apart a little bit on one corner, but i still have yet to get a full pass through from any arrow at any distance with broadheads.

i have a cheap o sportsmens deer target.. it been shot at with wheel bows and real bows for a few years now.. still in pretty good shape.. it cost 50 bucks... with a recurve, i try only to shoot lifelike targets..seems to help my overall shooting and with the pheripheal??? vision.
i see very little deer that are square in shape.
