Snoqualmie Falls
« on: April 01, 2011, 01:06:44 PM »
I know that alot of people probably have awesome pictures of this waterfall, I couldnt believe how much water was coming down it yesterday! The whole valley underneath is about flooded which isnt cool for the people who live there. I wish I had a video feature on my camera.

Cool pics.  I don't think I have ever been to the falls.

I was born and raised in Snoqualmie so I have seen it all. I have been around some pretty gnarly floods. What I think is the coolest part of the falls is the roar when the water is really flowing. Mother Nature is pretty incredible.

I drove a good part of the valley last night around 6:30. Drove from Fall City to Duvall. There's a ton of water out there but it's been worse. It was cool to see mother nature do her thing though. Usually when the valley floods I leave town in the dark and come home in the dark and don't get to see it till the weekends. It's late in the year for these floods so it's light out in the a.m. and p.m. Hopefully the damage is minimal.
Great pics. It's neat to see when she's really ripping like that.
