Not me but thanks for the heads up!  Also, try to remember to stick that friendly little catch record reminder on the fridge.  I've been hand delivering mine on the due date the past few years.

Why bother, the state won't let me fish in my back "yard" for my one rockfish a day...?  I won't buy it until I am ready to fish, no sense giving them my money any sooner than I have to.

South Sound near Tacoma and Vashon Island usually! We have been doing well fishing in about 120-150 foot of water trolling right of the bottom!

seriously? what lure/bait combo? we "used" to do well launching at point defiance. It was a zoo, but we always boated fish. Worked well cause it was our first year with a 'real' sea-worthy boat too. but these days its nothing but skunks out there for us.

We usually fish Tacoma side at incoming tide change and Vashon side on outgoing tide change. We typically fish spoons of varying color, we like the Irish flag, cookies and cream, and just plain old UV green and yellow behind a flasher usually of the green variety or green and orange. We fish the spoon about 36 inches behind the flasher and we are fishing using down-riggers we have three on the boat, we usually fish the bottom and dont start moving into the middle and upper water column until later in the year when the run starts picking up.
