We'll know the answer tomorrow afternoon, is anyone going to the meeting? Will be interesting what they decide on this as well as the permit levels.

I hadn't even thought about going to the meeting because there aren't really any issues I care about. But I see the good stuff isn't until after lunch, at 1:30, so maybe I will go up then. It would be interesting to hear what they say. But, instead I will probably go out and check my trail cameras.

I didn't go. Went out and put out another trail camera and then came home and mowed the grass. Figured that was more important than anything I'd get out of that meeting. We'll know soon enough. The regulations should be posted online in 5 days.

It amazes me when so many other States can make decisions so much earlier in the year. Is it that Washington is so much more complicated to decide? I think it is more so that they really don't care.

Mid-April seems plenty early enough to me.

A bit of communication from WDFW would be nice, alot of people have been waiting to hear how this went. But, what else would you expect from WDFW?

I'd just like to remind everybody that it's about the hunting, not just the killing. In other words, it's about the total experience, the sport itself and the challenge involved. Bowhunting, done right, is a justifiable and honorable pursuit. Done for the wrong reasons, simply chalking up kills and seeking personal glory, it's taking away rather than giving back to a principled way of life that has to be experienced to be understood.
