What do you guys think? Heading down there in the morning and it's at 11,000 and been dropping. Think its going to be worth the 2 hour drive from Monroe?

Always fish down there just depends on the bite. I've seen the fishing hot and cold this time of year.

Should be good. Rivers dropping, clarities getting better, lots of fish in the system has the makings to be a red-hot day. I heard they have been hitting some springers, not sure who "they" are though.

Long leaders and let your gear swing all the way into the bank.

no on the long leaders, but fishing right up on the bank will get you your fish with the river at 11,000. they'll be on the edge of the grass just out of the current.
