I thought marmots lives high in the mountains and were protected?  Is that maby a ground hog? I'm not positive just asking so don't rip me apart.

marmot, groundhog, sage rat, rockchuck, woodchuck, etc all kinda the same critters ...the hoary marmot ( really awesome name) that lives in the mountains is protected..... most the others are considered pests...but that still doesnt mean they arent cute
