Not sure I've submitted any pictures for the contest lately.  Here are my WA submissions:

For those of you that fish LaPush, this should look familiar.  I shot this last weekend on Rialto Beach in Olympic National Park at about 9:45 PM after the sun had set for about 30 minutes.  There was an amazing afterglow and I shot this picture at like 30 seconds to mist the crashing waves.

Just a no name waterfall near Lake Quinalt in Olympic National Park.  A 2 second exposure misted the water movement and created my wife's favorite shot of the weekend.  I personally like the above Rialto Beach shot, but she remembers being cold and wet and not having fun for me forcing her to sit there a half hour after the sun set to get the perfect shot...

Very nice Shawn, what were the other settings on the camera, if you don't mind.

Thats Bunch Creek Pope! Awesome shot. Probably the most photo'd spot in the Q vally. Sometimes you have to wait in line with the tripod people.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me to.

Man, I almost drove right by it.  If my wife didn't have to do a "nature walk" I probably would have just drove by it...lol.

That's nice for ISO 800 and no IS shot at 1/400th of a second.  It's nice that you stopped down a half a stop as that improves the lens performance greatly.  I love chukar.

It was probably just by accident, I still don't know what the heck I am doing.  I took the canon to the snake pit yesterday....thats probably what jinxed me.  My goal is an action shot striking, an eyeball- pit viper shot , and maybe a good buzz (blurred).  I was interested in the bright bright sun and rocks and how that was going to effect my shot.  I'm shooting in RAW now thanks to Rob(huntnphool)and a nice gift.  That helps immensly with whitebalance as you know.  I was curious how I could slow it down to get the buzz yet it being so bright.  Also wondered what it would be like dangling from those rocks, with a 12 pound lens instead of what I was using. :)

Here's a deer that hung around while we were trying to call in a bobcat or coyote last year? Deer didn't mind any sounds until we howled. Didn't like that at all. Also got it on video.

Here are a couple from last weeks float/hike in the Grand Canyon. #1 of the 7 wonders of the world. Truly an amazing place!!
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

This is my favorite grouse capture, taken almost a year ago. Best time for grouse photos is the next coupla weeks, while the hens like to lay on the side of gravel roads guarding their chicks.
