Well we did well again.  Turkey Camp 2011 was awesome. Weather conditions were tough and we had a great time. Anytime you can get together and hunt as friends it is the best.  We added roof to cook shack..awesome.  We had room for everyone.

As far as hunting..We struggled early mainly due to conditions..but we hunted rain, snow, hail wind..and you can kill birds..our camp total was 12 birds so far (8 longbeards and 4 jakes).  We have a couple guys still trying to fill tags today.  We set many records..a new Camp Biotch was crowned.... :'(...We got two kills on video..I used the Squealer too...It works.   :)  We had one triple beard, two doubles. One bearded hen was in the crosshairs but managed to escape!

We had an eagle take out my decoy..We also had many mishaps.  Vehicle/RV problems, gun malfunctions, depression, etc.. The best was the last three days of weather..beautiful.

I was able to save a tag for next weekend...I could have filled it but need it for a Merriams!

It was great to see Turkey Dancer and Turkey Slayer.  Here are a few pics.

I heard from a reliable source....that a small bird....a very small bird indeed....in fact, a bird so small it shattered the all time "Camp Bitch" record was harvested this year.

As you can see from the photo of Yelp in his Shirley Temple pink accessories....that he set the new standard, which will in all likelihood stand for years and years to come.  That is unless we have an unusually historic, once in a million year, early spring, and someone shoots a poult. :chuckle:

Good job Yelp....you da man!  I believe a small monument mounted on the cabin wall proclaiming your deed is in order.  Or better yet...large enough so no one ever misses it.  Watch out for monkey pee... :pee:
