........the joys of public land hunting.........just about to seal the deal, and a rig with a sick crow call pulls up and blasts away.  Oh well, that bird flew a mile out the roost, and will live to see another day.   :chuckle:

I've been up since 1 o'clock just couldn't sleep.  I got on a few birds today just couldn't seal the deal.  Never had them within range.

I'm headed out in 3hrs... mentally I"m already clocked out. physically I'm in the office for some reason though... gotta wait for my buddy to end his shift at 3pm, then picking him up for the weekend.

Whats a "triple beard" tom?  Im new to this turkey thing but got a nice 8 3/4" bearded gobbler about 830 this morning.
