Happiness is a little beaver first thing in the morning!!
Put out two traps yesterday and caught two nice beavs this morning. One was a whopper, the other was a good sized beaver but next to the big guy it looks rather small.

Beaver is legal bait....as far as I know?? Am I wrong? If so set me straight. As far as I know as long as I skin it I can use it.

According to the Idaho regs, beaver are classified as furbearers. I cannot use game animals, so unless you can point me to another section, I can't see where it's illegal to use beaver meat as bear bait. Any help would greatly appreciated. I like to do things above board.
