Who needs a specific day to fish?! Year round lakes rock!  :P
yeah year round lakes rock but some people have been fishing the same lakes on the opener for a long time.   Kinda like tradition now.

I completely understand that. I was lucky enough to live on a year round lake growing up, fished it last week for the first time in years and had a great time.

I remember when I was young, opening day on Haven Lake at my grandparents place. My buddy and I would always have a great time out there and have some pics to remember it by.

Good luck everyone!  :)

It is tradition for us to hike into the backside of West Medical for opening day, about 12 of us have been doing that for years. :fishin:

I'll be on the Willamete. Might even have the daughter along.

We went to Jameson for about 10 years in a row. We stopped going about 3 years ago. The fishing just got terrible.

We've got property on Tanwax. Probably take the kids down there this year.

It's gorgeous, just getting real crowded.  Hopefully gas prices will keep a few people off the lake this year.  Is it bad to wish that? :chuckle:
