Reading Elk body language.
« on: May 28, 2007, 05:14:56 PM »
I saw three little bulls feeding this weekend and was able to get some pics. I thought this would be a great thread for everyone to guess or "read" the body language and tell what you think they will do next.

I have a couple more that I will post later.

There are actually two things they can do, and they did both.
1. Bed down.
2. and this.........

then 20 minutes later the mounter becomes the mountee.

They are a bit blury, but I thought they were worth sharing.

Maybe we could swap these "type" for a couple of "regular" bulls. Take these from the Peninsula and get some from the St. Helens area. The St Helens bulls could help build the OP herd and these guys can help limit herd growth down there..lol

Thats just wrong.

I must be a bit two faced, as it just doesn't seem as bad to watch two cows go at it. ;)
