It’s worth about $100 to $150 dollars depending on condition.

NO, I don’t think they are good rifles, especially for hunting.  They are heavy, clumsy WWI era military weapons.  I have hunted deer with one, only because I am the youngest of 4 brothers and the other three would pick their rifles first and I got stuck with the .303 as last pick.  It will kill deer if you lug it close enough to one.

They are not worth much, but they are a good 100-200yd deer gun. There was lots of my family that used a 303 british to start hunting with back home in Montana.  I don't remember them being particularly heavy, an 8-9 pound rifle is not terribly heavy when your 12 years old and on top of the world because you get to finally hunt. But then we were from Mantana where you just grow up a little tougher...........LOL
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

the barrel has been shortened alot, taking the fast rifling out of it so it wont be really accurate anymore. you would be lucky to have 5" grouping at 100 yards with it.
Unless thats a replacement barrel, but i cant see anyone rebarreling to another .303 caliber barrel.

even with all the extras its only worth $150 as a parts rifle because the barrel has been hacked off.

It was one of the greatest battle rifle ever developed very reliable and quite accurate for a battle rifle.  They have killed alot of game around the world, remember "The sun never set on the British Empire".  One of my old hunting partners used to be a guide up in Ontario and used a little enfield carbine (Bubba custom) for everything.  I had one that looked alot like the one you 've pictured and it worked very well for northern WI deer.  If the motor is worth between 100 and 150 dollars you good, you'll always get it back.  Heck if you don't like it I'll give you $150 for it.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.
