national trappers meeting

Is anyone going to the meeting in john day.
Iam going for the informational classes there
is a cage trapping class for bobcats.

Bare hunter, I checked the schedule on the demos and didn't see any specific to cage trapping bobcats. Bobcat trapping yes cages only no. One of the vendors at the Rondy is cagey bobcats. I don't know about them but have a feeling they sell cage traps for bobcats. I'm sure if you go you will learn something from them if all you do is ask.  It is at john day, oregon June 24,25 and 26. If you go to the oregon trappers web page you can get more info. It is my understanding rooms are going fast. But you can also tent camp or haul a trailer. I will be there if all goes well.

spread the word about Washington for Wildlife.. we need the trappers involved also

I think Iam going to go on both days so I can see most of the classes.
I think i will just cold camp out in the brush.I cant wait.

bare hunter, I just saw a schedule of the demos over on trapperman.com. Mercer lawing will be giving a demo on cage trapping cats on sat at 9 AM. Hope to see you there!

I want to see most but Iam hoping
to go on friday also.hope to see all

mercer is a real nice guy.wish I could make that event.I like his traps,but these westsidw cats I have a tuff time getting them in there.They come up to the traps..have a blast guys,mind your feet under them tables,dont want hannibal harmed,LOL
