Do a search on here as it seems there is a couple stories of Selah Butte sheep taken by some members.

The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

I'd appreciate anyone who will share any  knowledge of this area. My own research shows some public land in the s.part of the unit? Anyone know about access to the private property that unit?

My dad was drawn for that unit in 2008, there is a little public land on the south portion of the unit and that is where he eventually took his ram. As for the private property there is a ranch about half way through the canyon that will allow you to hunt the rest of the property for a fee, it was $400 bucks when my old man went not sure if it is the same or if they even let you hunt anymore?
