Turkey Mounts

I was just wondering if anyone has any pictures they would like to share of any turkeys they have had mounted.  I got one this year that has a 9 3/4 in bird that i am getting mounted so i just wanted to see some different posses.  I got an idea of what i want done but would like some other ideas.  Will post pics of my birds when i find my camera.

I have 2 turkeys mounted one in a full strut and one in half strut will try and get pictures up tommorrow.

I have one in full strut. It's in a case and the only way to get a good pic of it is to take it out.. Maybe tomarrow. Who's mounting it? I no a good bird guy if your interested! PM me if you want his name and #

wctaxidermy is his name on this site. cant remember what it stands for.  My buddy just had his four beard tom done for him.  It was a full strutter and turned out beautiful. WCtaxidermy is out of colville.

One of my friends is a taxidermist and he does excellent work.  Those are some good looking mounts.  I have been leaning towards the full on gobble pose i really like that one I am still trying to get my pics up but having problems downloading em.

You probably need to open them in a program that you can resize them. Reduce them to like 50% and they should post. Also you can try posting one at a time.

here is a tail mount I did .... I used an air brush to paint the head...

Strutters are nice but they take up a lot of floor space.  Here's an Eastern from Centralia about 1996.

I feel your pain! I get away with a lot of the stuff I bring home but I think the wife would have a melt down if I brought home a mounted Tom :chuckle: I desperately need myself a man cave. One of these days. My Tom from this year would have been a good candidate size wise for a mount, but his tail fan wasn't as impressive as I've seen. Someday I'll have John at WC do me up a turkey rug. I think those are really cool too.
