turkey hunt a bust
« on: May 05, 2011, 08:35:17 AM »
went to kettle falls, no birds to be seen, going home to roll my turkey tag into a cigar.
again..............but i tried.

next year maybe i will have someone to hunt birds with.

seeings how asking anyone here to go hunting is a no-no.

i know that sign, i drove right past it to go get fuel lol!
i was wondering about that area with all the wheeling trails everywhere. now i know.
(just kidding, i know that motel hehe!)

where i am at is alot higher in elevation, turkeys arent up here yet.

i had alot of fun doing what i did and it was really peaceful alone on that hill scavenging antlers all by myself collecting my thoughts (like stepping into heaven for awhile).

being able to be up on that mountain instead of looking up it & painfully walking with a cane was my own achievement.

i will get home tomorrow evening or afternoon and get ready to go out somewhere saturday with another member around Kent (hopefully).  :IBCOOL:

this trip wasnt a bust, i had fun doing everything i did lol!

Glad to hear you had fun.  Too bad the birds were a bust.  At least you found some antlers.
