I have spent about 10 years fishing these lakes for bass Cassidy, Roesiger, flowing, Panther etc.. Flowing and Roesiger always starts late due to cold water and depth. Flowing is over 100 and Roe is about 80 so they..take way longer to warm up. Cassidy is probably the best early lake around you can fish that is Jan and flip a jig to the cover and catch largemouth. Storm lake is always a good bet for numbers fish a Senko or pitch a jig to the docks and the timber. Get it close to the docks like within a few inchs.. Skip senkos under the docks.. if you have not done this you should learn, its like skipping a rock. Once done right you can skip a senko 20 feet under a dock. I would say you best bet to catch a fish right now would be Storm, Cassidy or panther. Stick pretty shallow with a Spinnerbait, senko and a Jig. If its pretty cold make sure to move those SLOW!!!

Hope that helps.. once flowing heats up and Roe, you will start getting some big ones.. both lakes get a fair amount of pressure but hold big fish.. we have had several days with mulit fish over 5 lbs. and had a few 8 lbers. (all on scales and I have fished tournament for over 10 years now so not full of chit).

Good luck and hope that helps

Oh and make sure to use natural colors on flowing and Roe.

Brian
If there is a bass in it I will catch it.

went out again with my boys today and managed to get a couple small ones, bout six inches or so. the boy was throwing a mepps for trout and was catching bass so had to tie one on, couldnt get outfished by a ten year old. :dunno: anyways, had fun taking the boys out after school, they love it. will probably wait till it warms up till i go out again.

Ridgefire, Glad you guys had some luck.  Seems like there are larger bass in the big pond up the hill.  Might still be early with all cold weather we been battling.
