Heres a simple marinade or basting sauce thats real good. I used it first as a basting sauce when doing some cedar plank salmon. Then tried it as a marinade for grill and finally tried it on salmon that I smoked. Loved it all three times.
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
3 garlic cloves
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
For BBQ salmon it was done at 135 degrees (inside)
