Cool video! Congrats on the bull! Did you end up getting it out in one trip? Seems like alot of meat for a single trip.

yea it was alot of meat.  i made a bike trailer last year.  it did the trick, but my bike needs disc brakes.  the pads and rims were so hot that i could not even touch the rims.  the trailer needs to be re-enforced to say the least.  to see my truck at the end of the day was a breath of fresh air

Isnt it pretty rough riding a bike 4 miles through that thick stuff? I like the whole Mtn. Bike idea though!

Awesome, congrats on the bull. I'll be hunting off my mountain bike this year. Glad to see it works for you, hoping it will work out for me this year.

Disc. breaks are a must. Rode a 100.00 dollar bike in about 4 miles in eastern washington. Dropped off are food, on the way in my breaks broke and rims got bent. Packed the bike out on my back... The next year i spent the cashola and got a great bike. I do need to get a trailer for it.

glad you're here and thanks for sharing.  I was following that video back in December and it sucks when people try to slam you for bowhunting and saying the animal suffered.  Keep your head up and keep sharing1

I use my Super Mag Hauler with a hitch I found online at the following address. http://www.go2marine.com/product.do?no=11643F
It works pretty slick.

Great Elk!

Appreciate the info on the bike as well. I plan on biking in this year as well, and now have some additional info that will help greatly.
The info on the brakes, hitch, and trailer will all be considered when scouting is complete and the hunting begins  :)
